UPDATED 22-August-2000
Thanks to all the people who have read and encouraged all my many opinions! You know who you are...
A couple graduate degrees worth of education have helped me develop an interesting view of the world, despite the fact that these were business degrees. I taught management courses at three different universities over an eight year stretch that I lovingly refer to as my "ivy-covered daze".
Now I work in the training industry.
You say you know someone who looked like me when you were in school somewhere? Or maybe I taught you at some school or training center somewhere?
Yep. Coulda been me. You see, I've lived all over the eastern U.S. - I have moved around more than participants in the Federal Witness Protection Program.
But Texas is home for now. I thought this was the last place in the the country I'd ever live - and the funny thing is, it just may be. I LIKE it here in Austin. Plenty of good people, food and beer to keep me happy.
Send me a six-pack of Vernors and I'm sure it'll all be OK.
I've been a distance runner for almost 25 years. In 1999, I finally broke into longer distances, and ran two marathons and a 50K... slowly.
I'm now training for the 2000 Chicago marathonl. The heat and humidity here can melt internal organs, so I should be ready for the flat, cool Chicago course.
Reviews
My reviews are to the point. I won't flood the reader with information they can find in a manual, help file or FAQ.
I tend to review products and services I strongly like or dislike. I also have eclectic tastes. I write about what I know.
I update my reviews regularly to keep them fresh - look for the word UPDATED in the subject. Just like an expiration date, only there's no smelly surpises.
WOT
I enjoy using epinions because there are some excellent reviews here, written by a diverse community of people.
I rate opinions that are helpful and well written. If I see something I like in that review, I'll award an R or HR.
When I see opinions that are mean or unhelpful, the NR comes out. Can't we all just get along?
