I retired from teaching 2nd grade in 1996. Yes, there is life after teaching which I really did love. I have a wonderful husband of nearly 40 years (how can that be when I feel like 35 years old myself?),and have three grown sons, two of which are married, and four little grandkids who light up our lives. I do not like to clean house, shop, or make small talk at parties any more. But I love a good bargain. I volunteer at our church thrift shop where I am the best customer. Bible Study Fellowship has inspired me on the spiritual side for which I am very thankful. Scrapbooking has organized my photos and the journaling on each page will explain the who, what, where, and when it happened. It is a legacy to the future.
