I am originally from Logan WV. At age 10 my family moved to Norwalk CT. I attended West Virginia University for 2 years. I relocated in January 1978 to Riverside CA, residing her 25 years now. In the distant future I will relocate to FL to join husband. He has started a new career position in Deerfield Beach FL. We have 3 daughters, Lisa 19, Kristen 17 and Jamie 12.
I have previously worked various jobs. I was a telecommunications operator for 10 years, a toll free operator, a Sales Associate at Sears 2 years, and now work for AMTRAK, as a Reservation Sales Agent. I am in my 7th year.
Since April 2002 I have indulged my cravings for travel. My husband and I first traveled for 8 days 7 nights to London England. Our 17 year old daughter Kristen and I traveled to Sendai Japan for 8 days in December 2002, and to Edinburgh Scotland (4 days)and London (2 days), in April 2003.
I enjoy taking photographs wherever I travel to. I have my 4th Olympus point and shoot camera. I also collect souvenir shot glasses from all locations I have traveled to. That is one of my hobbies. I have no idea of how many actual shot glasses I have collected.
I really enjoy country music. I listen to 60's and 70's rock and roll. Annually I travel to Edison Field for the yearly CA Angels vs NY Yankees baseball series. I unabashedly root for the Yankees. My daughter Kristen absolutely loves Derek Jeter. Otherwise against other major league baseball opponents I will root for the Angels.
I love attending high school football games. I have become an active fan again during these last 8 years. Plus I have also had the added pleasure of watching my daughter perform in marching band these past four years. We have followed her and our band J W North HS Blue Star Regiment all over southern CA, and even to competitions in Las Vegas. She graduated June 10th, 2003.
I have 2 cats, and envision someday owning my own horse. I love to ride, and used to jump fences on horseback. I do enjoy gardening, arranging carnations in vases all over my house, and even mowing my lawn.
I am currently awaiting renovations, due to November 2002 garage fire, to move back into my house. After 7 months of apartment living, which I strongly dislike, I soon move back into my home.
