I've been working here at Pixar Animation Studios as a technical director since 1993. You can see my work in A Bug's Life and Toy Story 1 and 2. In fact, if you've seen A Bug's Life, you've heard my voice. That's right, I'm the slug in the Bug Bar that says "OW OW! Hey! I said no salt!" Woohoo. I'm famous.
I graduated from Princeton in 1993 with a degree in Computer Science. While I was there I spent a lot more time doing theater, playing in the orchestra, and singing with the a cappella group The Footnotes than doing any schoolwork.
Before Princeton I was at Interlochen Arts Academy studying trumpet and music composition. Interlochen is a fantastic institution nestled in scenic Michigan where students of all ages perform at levels surpassing many professionals.
These days I sing with the San Francisco Symphony Chorus, play piano, and perform with a San Francisco Improvisational troupe. I spend a lot of time rehearsing, eating in Bay Area restaurants, and trying to furnish and decorate my house in Bernal Heights with my girlfriend.
