Never get too old to be young.
"I wish I were what I was when I wanted to be what I am now." ~ Unknown
I'm a quirky, boring, loving, tough, arrogant, humble, educated, ignorant, sheltered, experienced kind of girl.
What does not kill you, only makes you smarter. So, I have hope, but my favorite color is still clear.
I'll celebrated the ninth anniversary of my 29th birthday this upcoming November 2nd (and just attended my 20 year High School reunion). I'm now 29 plus a whole lot of ˝s. I have an thirteen-year old daughter (Bug), a nine-year-old son (Buddy), a three-year-old daughter (Bunny), and the latest (and final) additions to Team Bowie are two-year-old twin boys (Bread & Butter). I frequently marvel at how five children sprung from the same source can be such diverse individuals (A Gypsy, a Leprechaun, an Irish-Canadian Freight Train in Motion, and Double-time Marchers!).
I've had a lot of different jobs. Work-at-home customer service rep, Certified Pharmacy Technician, guest services (front desk) for a major hotel chain, office muffin, construction worker, a pizza delivery driver, a maid, an ecdysiast - just to name a few.
Currently, I'm unemployed outside the home (unless being "The Old Woman Who Lived in a Shoe" counts as gainful employment. Come on Kindergarten!). I also buy storage units at auction and am a craigslist posting fool! I also manage to make a buck or two here and there online.
"Life appears to me too short to be spent in nursing animosity, or registering wrongs." ~Charlotte Bronte Jane Eyre
For love is by definition an unmerited gift; being loved without meriting it is the very proof of real love. If a woman tells me: I love you because youre intelligent, because youre decent, because you buy me gifts, because you dont chase women, because you do the dishes, then Im disappointed; such love seems a rather self-interested business. How much finer it is to hear: Im crazy about you even though youre neither intelligent nor decent, even though youre a liar, an egotist, a bastard. ~Milan Kundera Slowness
