About boden11
|
I'm 25 years old, and have a BS in Business Finance. Currently I use it to help me play video games and manage my own finances as no one wants to hire a young know-it-all. I enjoy increasing the credit limits on my credit cards on a monthly basis when I'm not busy shooting Combines in Half-Life 2. Hobbies include playing Texas Hold-Em (try me in some heads up no limit on Ultimatebet), anything tech/computer related, movies and finances.
Check out my page frequently, I update my epinions fairly often based on new experiences (generally because of replies from Tech Service since their product managed to break my computer/whatever)... Look for the "Updated xx/xx" prefix to an epinion below.
A little insight on how I rate other users Epinions:
VH--I give this out on a review that is well-written, on topic and very thorough. Many aspects are looked at including pros and cons, uses of this product/whatever, and it is of very high quality.
H--This is for a review that is almost as good as VH but is lacking in a few aspects. An example would be a review that takes a few details into account but has a few holes.
SH--This is given out to the underachievers. These reviews are on-topic but may only give one or two details about the product. If your review is a 100 words, there's a good chance of getting this rating, unless you have something revolutionary to say.
NH--I save this lowest of lows for reviews that are offensive and off-topic. If you got an NH from me, then your opinion must have been really bad.
I do tend to be a little more lenient towards new opinion writers if they are showing promise and potential. However I will adjust my rating scheme based on the product being reviewed. A brief opinion on a $7 movie or new video game might hit a home run, but for a high end piece of equipment such as a digital camera or a new car I'm looking for some depth.
See...I'm not all that geeky...
| You are 36% geek | You are a geek liaison, which means you go both ways. You can hang out with normal people or you can hang out with geeks which means you often have geeks as friends and/or have a job where you have to mediate between geeks and normal people. This is an important role and one of which you should be proud. In fact, you can make a good deal of money as a translator.
Normal: Tell our geek we need him to work this weekend.
You [to Geek]: We need more than that, Scotty. You'll have to stay until you can squeeze more outta them engines!
Geek [to You]: I'm givin' her all she's got, Captain, but we need more dilithium crystals!
You [to Normal]: He wants to know if he gets overtime.
