Well I ain't 29 anymore.. ..as a matter of fact I am coming up on 33 next month. Damn that looks old when you see it on paper..or on screen. I was turned down for the electronics program after having started and completed one quarter of it so I had to switch to pharmacy technician. It was a course of training I knew they would definitely pay for and they did. Had I stuck with electronics they wouldn't have paid and I would not have gotten the $25,000 in unemployement that I did.

Update Sept 2002
Most of the below information is now untrue. It is now September of 2002 and I am laid-off thanks to Sept 11. I am currently going to school to become an electronic technician. At least I am still getting $2000+ a month on unemployement.
Update..the electronics tech thing didn't work out as far as getting the required permission to take the classes.........

I am 29 and I build 747's for a living. I have an Associates of Occupational Studies in Automotive/Diesel Technology from Universal Technical Institute in Phoenix. My certs expired but I was an ASE certified Master Auto Technician and ASE certified Truck Technician. *******
