About bops_mom
More than you wanted to know: I'm a 30-something Christian single mom. I have an affinity for beauty products and technology. I enjoy TV, movies and books a great deal and wish I had more time to devote to them. I've moved more in the last 2 years than a person should have to move in a lifetime. Hopefully there are no more moves in my future! I have two hormone disorders (PCOS, hypothyroid) which can make life much more complex than I'd like.
I'm in love with my new iPhone 4S! I have no idea how I survived life pre-iPhone. I also greatly enjoy my iPod as often as possible and I love taking pictures with my Canon Powershot SD900. I really wish I had more time to sit at my computer reading, writing, rating and commenting on Epinions - or even doing free lance web design like I once did.
The Kiddo is a teenager now (lord help me) and is in high school. Of course I think my son is adorable and amazing but I realize that as his mom I am probably more than just a little biased. My son has Cerebral Palsy and asthma.

Epinions
My Take on Epinions: I do
take Epinions somewhat seriously in that my desire is when others come looking for information, they actually find
it. I'm not under the misguided notion that I am an amazing writer. I write because I enjoy it. Despite popular
belief to the contrary, I do have a sense of humor which gets me into plenty of trouble off Epinions. Epinions may
be the livelihood for some but it is not for me I don't treat it as such. I'm all for having fun on the site but do feel a review that contains made up/false information is not helpful and is much better off placed over in writer's corner.
Mark: a great loss for Epinions.
Barbara: Epinions will never be the same without you.
Need Epinions Help? If you
have any questions about why I rated the way I did, or how you can improve your review to get a higher rating
from me, please feel free to e-mail me. Likewise, should you edit/update a review I have rated feel free to e-mail me the link and I will take another look. I will do my best to get back to you within a week or so, but since life throws many curves (and usually all at once), please be patient.
How I rate: I do not rate based upon whether or not I agree with you; my ratings are based upon how helpful I felt your review was to consumers looking for information before making a purchasing decision. Working your way around Epinions word filter may result in a lower rating from me. Purposely adding excessive information is not generally more helpful. If you want to offend me, you're really going to have to work at it as I'm not easily offended. I may, however, rate reviews which I believe will offend others lower as offending people who come to this site looking for help and information isn't lucrative for them, Epinions or those of us who write product reviews on Epinions. I could care less if you list what's in a product (ingredients) and have never rated down for leaving such information out of a review.
Ingredients, in my mind, are a total and complete non issue.
