I don't know who's really going to read this, but I thank those of you who have taken the time to stop by.
I guess the most important thing about me for the purpose of epinions is, I like to get my money's worth. Some call me cheap...I call it being frugal:) Cheap has two definitions..."poor quality" or "not expensive", and as such is often misconstrued by those who hear it. At the end of the day, I like to know that what I spend my money on is going to be worth what I bought. I can't thank Epinions enough for allowing this type of forum. It allows people like me to research the products, but also offers a place to buy them at a competetive price.
I currently work for a law firm in the Los Angeles area as the Litigation Support Specialist and handle the databases for the large litigation cases. I also evaluate new potential software and handle all the vendors, writing up proposals for what I review and a recommendation on whether to purchase it for the firm. I love my job... it's the epinions of law:)
In my spare time I shoot video for weddings, family reunions, etc. It's been a great experience, and I've tried enough programs and cameras to know what NOT to do:) I think I like filming weddings the best because no wedding is the same; everyone is happy, there's good food, there's good music, and generally, it is a great experience reminding me of how lucky I am....both to be married, and that this time, I'm not the one shelling out $10,000!
In my home life, I have a wife and son, with another kid on the way. Relax, I say kid because we don't know what it is yet, and my wife is opposed to me calling the baby "it". The whole thing is exciting and scary all at the same time...not being married... just having two kids:) It's a big responsibility and these first two years, I swear they purposely try to break their heads open every chance they get. Two kids in diapers is going to be something I haven't even begun to fathom. I look at myself and think, "Man, I have a wife, two kids, a house, a bad cat...I'm too young for this. I'm only twenty...nine... oh yeah, that's not so young."
So, the opinions that I write are intended to help those who are like me; who want a good deal and who like to research different products before they put the money down. I hope people get half as much out of my reviews, as I've gotten out of Epinions and those who have taken their personal time to review products. So again, Thank you, and I'll see you in the reviews!
