I'm a an unemployed IT pro, with almost 25 years in the business, as a computer operator, systems analyst, applications programmer, systems programmer and administrator.
I have a wide range of interests, which include cooking, good wine, good beer, skiing, backpacking, hiking, trail work, geocaching, playing and coaching soccer, playing softball, volleyball and bowling. I'm also an avocational archaeologist and have worked on historic and pre-historic excavations in the northeast US. I'm currently working on a dig in NJ, where we're excavating a 6,000 year old Indian village.
Among my other interests are politics, music (punk, alternative, classical and Celtic), American history and reading.
