About camworld
Cameron Barrett has lived all over the world and has experienced numerous cultures and societies. Born in Van Nuys, CA, he tends to hang out with open-minded people who know how to have great conversations and express their opinions.

Cam works as an Information Architect for an up-and-coming open source solutions Internet services provider in New York City. Books and movies are his two favorite hobbies. He has a very large collection of short story anthologies and is always on the lookout for new writers.

Cam's web site, camworld.org, is one of the most popular of a new breed of sites called "weblogs." Every day, Cam scours the web for links that interest and fascinate him. His daily links have gained him a wide and loyal readership.

In college, Cam wrote massive amounts of experimental fiction, none of it drug-induced. He has taught college, worked as a freelance designer, slaved away in an ad agency, and is currently deep within the bowels of a large American corporation where he surrounded by enough computers to fuel a small nation.

For fun, Cam likes to write cheesy profiles written in the third person. This helps him overcome his fear of refrigerators and small animals. Sometimes, Cam makes prank phone calls to the offices of Microsoft Corporation asking for handouts from Bill.

When Cam was little he fell out of a tree and hit his head. It explains a lot.
