About capnhank
In the immortal words of Hoyt Axton, "You know I've smoked a lot of grass; Oh Lord, I've popped a lot of pills..." I spent the better part of my youth actively destroying what was once a very promising future. Today, after years of shooting dope, touring with punk rock bands and generally occupying the fringes of society, I am a very happily married homeowner with a decent job, a bachelor's degree in Marketing and seven cats. I read a lot of pseudo-intellectual stuff (Ayn Rand, Carl Sagan, world histories, junk science, etc) and listen to a wide range of music (mostly indie pop, punk, shmaltzy lounge, Jim Nabors and post-baroque classical) while posting anti-Bush rhetoric on the web and managing the warehouse for the bookstore at a large State University. Yep, it's a dirty job but someone's gotta do it.
