A painter of high end homes(husband) and home educator/computer technician/web & graphic designer/makeup artist(me)- married parents of a second grader and a 22 year old welder. Pretty tame, right?
WRONG!!!
Life is pretty crazy around here. It seems that we are always having one outrageous thing after another happening to us.
Some people are destined to live sedate and predictable lives. Then there are others like us that provide hours of material for screen writers!!!!!

We are not the norm. We kind of homestead. At least 2000's style.
We grind our own flour, make our food from scratch, grow huge gardens of herbs, fruits and vegetables every year, preserve what we grow and then some.
And who do you know that actually drinks GOAT MILK on occasion?!?! EEEEWWWWW.....

In addition to home education and running a little home based computer business, I am a high fashion clothing designer/makeup artist with a penchant for the unusual and dramatic.
Since my young daughter makes it very difficult to paint paintings, I have decided to vent my creative energies using myself as a canvas, and as continual practice for makeup artistry that I have done for over 15 years. So the slide show of photos you see associated with my reviews is a small part of my personal collection of my makeup artwork as performed on myself. Perhaps someday I will include some of the before and after shots of clients I have done as well.
The artist in me loves to create and design whatever it can get its hands on.

I have been known to scare my friends because they do not recognize me with one of my NEW looks. I like to see how long they will talk to me, thinking I am a stranger, before they recognize me. (I am constantly updating my slide show with new and different photos.)
In addition to my creative artistic side, there is the highly technical side of me that thrives on dismantling and improving computers, appliances and other intricate electronic and mechanical things. I am a voracious reader as well - when time permits, that is.

Talk about dichotomy!
My excitement in reviewing and reacting to products and services began years ago when others would always turn to me for information about just about any purchase they wanted to make. I also used to haunt the marketing research departments looking for surveys to take and products to review.
I can hear the marketing office personnel in my mind's eye when I come up to the door to ask if I can PLEASE review something-
" Oh no, not HER again."
With EPINIONS, the mall comes to me!
My reviews are opinionated, informational, entertaining, and contain the kind of things that I am interested in when I look for reviews about that particular item or service. If you are looking for brief and nebulous, well you are looking in the wrong place.
When rating reviews, I look for the same. I do not have to agree with a reviewer, but if their review is well done and applicable to its category, then it gets a high rating. Personal feelings, or site politics have no place in my participation here at Epinions when it comes to rating and reviewing. I call it as I see it, and that is the beauty of writing our own PERSONAL OPINIONS (aka epinions).

Years ago, I do not think that the people who dubbed me "MISS INFORMATION" had any idea that I would be doing something like EPINIONS. Then again, neither did I.

If you do not see your name on my WOT for some time and think you should be there, please be patient with me. Country life is very demanding, and I do not have a lot of time to devote to other activities. Phone lines going in and out, power outages, all of the things most people take for granted are obstacles that I have to deal with constantly.
I read a lot of reviews before deciding on the WOT. Sometimes I forget and think someone is on there when they are not. Don't hesitate to contact me. I will get to it eventually.....

WEB SITE NEWS
GOOD NEWS! I finally am going to be getting around to putting up a web site soon- I am planning on offering some of the prints of my paintings there. Will post more information and links as soon as they become available.
I do very intense colorful watercolor paintings using makeup pigments in them with duochromatic iridescence. I have been told it is a very unusual style of painting and many people have requested that I develop a site to make them available to the general public.
Now that I have a person set up to make me small prints to offer online- it won't be long now! I promise to keep you posted.
