I am a woman of a certain age with a variety of interests, mostly artistic. I have worked as a licensed cosmetologist(fancy way of saying hair stylist) for almost 24 years. I also have a degree in Music/Vocal performance from Chapman University. I enjoy movies, music, Karaoke and CATS. I have been known to spew trivial and useless facts in order to amaze and amuse my friends and co-workers.
I grew up in Southern California. I've lived in Orange County my entire life, but love to travel. Places I have been include Russia, The Ukraine, Finland, New York City, Washington D.C., Seattle, Daytona and a few other places.
I would love to go to Europe, but have never had the chance.
Usually you will find me at the movies, a classical concert, Karaoke or a good Musical. In the past I have performed in my share of stage productions (Opera and Musical Theater) and think I may like to try commercials someday. I have a fairly analytical mind for an artist and enjoy discussing movies, music, theater productions and various other subjects.
My work as a hair stylist allows me to meet different kinds people from all walks of life. It's one of the things I enjoy most about my job. My job is very satisfying because I get to make people feel good about themselves and they in return give me positive feedback. I love the constant "closure" I get from finishing a client and feeling the job was done right.
