I have travelled so much that it is easier for me to say where I have not been then where I have been and that is not bragging, it is just a fact. I have not been to South America, North & South Pole and South Africa and Iceland. otherwise I am really well travelled in Europe, North America and of course China, India and SE Asia. Australia is my home so I have travelled all over Australia as well. Though I was born in Hong Kong so being able to speak Chinese fluently has helped my travel in China a lot. And I speak enough French to develop some really worthwhile friendships in Paris for over 18 years.
I hope I can give fair and unbiased reviews and mostly report truly atrocious situations that takes advantage of backpackers on a budget. The highlight of my trips have been trekking in the Himalayas and visiting the forbidden kingdom of Bhutan. Tibet was really good but I had very bad altitude sickness which marred the trip. I hope I am open minded and try to make friends regardless of race or religion. I actually love Art and writing. I would like to meet new people with an open-mind to travelling and exploring the world. Cheers Cecilia
