About chancel
I graduated in December 1998 from John Carroll University, on the east side of Cleveland. I double majored in English and history, and did a lot of backstage theatre techwork besides.

Right now, I am a candidate for an MFA in creative writing in the English department at the University of Michigan, looking into publishing. I write way too much and eat books.

All my epinions are over here,

and I have a boy-type person over here. [He rhymes with ficus, the tree. You cannot imagine how exciting it is to go out with someone who rhymes with ficus.]

Note as of 3 August: writing out recipes is harder than it looks, since when I actually cook I never measure anything. At all. But besides that, it's much easier than writing, for instance, book reviews. I don't have to evaluate the deep inner meaning or intrinsic worth of eggplant parmesan. It's a relief, especially when I'm trying to get my coursepack together and write up a syllabus. This is because I have to teach the dreaded freshman comp, starting next month. Oh man.
