Due to a back injury, I have returned to school 26 years after graduating from high school. I am going to attempt to be more active around here. I will start off by reading and rating reviews, then as time permits I will start to write reviews again.
For the last 15 years, I've worked for 3 different major retailers as a manager, the last 6 years of that in consumer electronics.

About My Reviews
I don't write an epinion on something I don't have any knowledge about or personal experience with.
Web of Trust
My WOT is made up of people that I have read at least 5 of their epinions & I trust what they have reviewed. (maybe that's why they call it a "Web of Trust"!!)
I'm consistantly impressed by what they have contributed to the Epinions community.
If I report someone for any kind of abuse, they'll be added to my Web of Distrust.
I try to read reviews of everyone that reads mine or adds me to their WOT. Please e-mail me if you see that I have not stopped by to read yours.
If you have been removed from my WOT and would like to know why, send me an e-mail and I'll be happy to explain my reasoning behind my actions.
If I see that you directly trust anyone on my Web of Distrust, you'll be removed from my Web of Trust.
My Rating System
HR This is an epinion that gives me all the information about a product or service I would consider for myself. Also, a well thought out editorial that gives a convincing point of view on something. It doesn't matter if I agree with your point of view or not. Adding a Personal touch helps too.
R This is still a very well done epinion, but it left me with some questions about what was being reviewed. Maybe a little more detail would be of help.
SR This epinion may lack a number of key things to be helpful. There are a lot of spelling errors, only have 100 words(and you had to ramble about nothing to reach the minimum), is one looooong paragraph which I find difficult at best to read.
I will leave a comment on any that I give this rating to & offer some suggestions on how you could improve your review. If you do this and let me know, I'll be more than happy to read and rate it again.
NR I reserve this rating for ANY epinion that is stolen from this or any other site, repetition(saying the same thing over & over & over & over again to reach 100 word requirement), any that look to be mass produced and ANY that use profanity or make uncalled for comments about another member or in any way harasses them. This includes giving me a low rating in retaliation for me rating something that obviously is in violation of the Epinions TOS guidelines.
Again, I will leave a comment as to why you were given this rating and I will also report you to abuse if needed.

In Closing
If you feel any of my reviews are not worthy of being here or you see something I can do to improve them, please e-mail me & let me know (How else can I learn?). I'm an adult, I can handle constructive comments & suggestions. I also take pride in what I write. I do not & will not play revenge games for a low rating. I would only like to know why you gave the rating you did.
I don't understand why people feel the need to hide their ratings. If you are going to leave a low rating because you don't agree with what was said in the review, take a look at the Epinions Terms of Service, then leave your rating.
