I am employed as a graphic artist but would always rather be with my kids,
bargain hunting, or chatting with my cyber friends.
I have a two year old daughter named Lauren and a one year old son named Dean.
They are just 13 months apart and though I didn't plan it that way, I find myself
giving thanks each and every day that I have them both and that they are such good
friends this early in their lives.
I have a wonderful bald husband whom I met while waiting tables several years ago.
When we finally find time alone together, we enjoy all the usual "date" activities like movies
(he likes action, I like comedy), concerts(Johnny Lang, Live, & Harry Connick Jr are our must see shows),
or restaurants(I'll eat anywhere I can get a good margarita!)
When I'm with my family we enjoy going to the zoo, playing in the yard or pool, and we
take an annual family trip to the Oregon Coast. I have a passion for the beauty of
the Pacific Coast and the lighthouses that grace it's shores.
When I'm online, I spend most of my time at my favorite deals board.
Not so much for the deals either, but for the friendships that I've found there.
Besides my shopping buddies, I have made many cyber-friends at my favorite parenting site as well.
The ladies I've met there have been an amazing part of my life for the past two years....
we've shared baby showers, vacations, and endless silly email strings that have really shed a
light on my life. Epinions has been the third site where I have found an outlet for something
I enjoy doing(writing) and have the opportunity to turn it into something more. I'm just addicted.....
and I'm meeting so many other wonderful people, and learning so much more every day, that I
don't think I'll ever turn back!
