Lets see. Who am I?
My name is Claudia and I am 31 years old. I was a preschool teacher for many years and am now a tutor while I finish my degree in psychotherapy. I plan to be very involved with epinions, especially in the book section as reading is my greatest passion ever and because I have very eclectic taste I believe I will have some new insights. Although judging by the talent on here I have my work cut out for me.
I love travel, music, art, museums, lighthouses, marine archeaology, cultural anthropology, history, philosophy, politics and sociology. Yes, a little nerdy, but I wouldnt have it any other way. I adore the art of Van Gogh, the music of the Tea Party, Live, Tracy Chapman, Cris Isaak, REM, U2, Bocelli, Dean Martin, Norah Jones, Filippa Giordano, just to name a few. I love a good book and movies although I am much more partial to true stories or biographies/documentary types in both areas. Movies like 'Life is Beautiful', 'Schindlers List', 'Shawshank Redemption', 'Titanic', 'The thin red line', 'The Red Violin' (for example) were mind blowing for me.
Anyway, on a personal level, I am single (by choice) and I am a strong minded lass. I enjoy a good healthy discussion, with people of good intellect. I dont like people assuming how I feel or why. If someone wants to know something, they should always ask and never assume, its my number one pet peeve. I am very confident with people but mostly prefer my own company. I like to think and read and am much more inclined for solitary activities....and no Im not anti social, just not a huge fan of crowds and commotion.
I love animals and nature, especially the ocean. I have a dog who is the daughter of darkness, because she is pure evil :D. I love to hike and I do tae bo and swim. Walking is another of my loves. I once walked the entire length of a beach in the southern western corner of Australia which took about 8 hours and then realised I had to walk back....(long day.) I love writing and drawing but am not a genius as yet at either. I have made the finals on a few poetry competitions but am yet to make a name out of writing. Would love to some day......judging by the comments on my reviews I have a ways to go. :).I am new to review writing so please help me out with your feedback, but dont be too hard huh?
