I have a degree in journalism and enjoy freelance writing. I work in a Art Museum in the Education department, and am responsible for all school programs as well as internships and summer art programs for underprivileged children.
I serve on the Board of Directors for Education-related policies of the Volunteer Center of the Mohawk Valley, and am actively involved with the America Reads Program and other tutoring and Literacy programs.
I freelance write, copyedit, proofread, and work at home doing resumes, cover letters, research papers, statistical typing, and other Administrative functions.
I am also the mother of three boys, one of whom is autistic. I have been taking courses and doing research on his illness, and best ways to raise and educate him. I will continually work to make sure that he is in the most appropriate program for him to excel in.
Coming from a large family, and marrying into a large family, I spend a lot of time cooking. It is nice when I can find a timesaver method and still give my family a nutritious meal.
Holidays are fun with a big family. We tend to do a lot of fun things like make Christmas cookies, color Easter Eggs, and just enjoy each others company. I always have a houseful of company on Christmas Eve, and everyone goes home with full bellies, happy memories, and lots of inspiration for a prosperous and healthy New Year.
