In the past I fully believe I was far too easy of a rater. There are many albums that I gave five stars that I now wish I would have given four at the time, and now that my tastes have matured may have even given three. So I am now not given 5 star ratings unless the album is one of absolute mastery. Five star albums are one that I can still listen to today and enjoy just as much as I did when I reviewed it...there are not a lot of those.

Hmm...trying to find ways to make money while in college. This may either lead to an increase of reviews here despite the paltry sum of money they pay or may leave me with less time to write. Time will only tell.

In other news, I'm at college now still trying to follow where God leads. Music still is one of my biggest passions in life, but sometimes it takes a backseat to other things. Still love writing, even if I do it less. Thanks for reading.

Other things I enjoy in no particular order: Frisbee, drums, hanging out with my friends, driving now that I have my license, blasting music while driving, buying cds, reading reviews on Epinions or anywhere, going to church and youth group, funny movies, Halo 2, Nintendo 64, Xbox, Gamecube, life, writing(duh), and more...

How I rate and my WOT:
I pretty much rate how I feel an review has given me information about a product. I will say that I give out Very Helpful's probably more than I should, but I think they are normally deserved. I give Helpful's if a review is too short and not filled with enough musical description. Somewhat Helpful's are only given on rare occasions and when a review is extremely short and also has bad punctuation or grammar. I have never given a Not Helpful out, and don't imagine I will, as almost every review is in some way helpful. As for my WOT, if you like the same type of music as me, and/or write good reviews, you'll be on there. If you add me to your WOT, I'll normally check out your stuff, and at least throw down a rating on your newest, and if I continue to like what you do, you'll probably eventually end up on my WOT.
