I am 51 years old, married to a great guy who luckily for me is also a wonderful husband, between the two of us we have five adult children and eleven grandchildren. I worked for twenty five years as a civilian employee of a police dept, the last fifteen years I worked as a Animal Control Officer (for the police dept). I recently opted to take a early retirement so that I could "enjoy" a quality of life that is not possible when you work full time. My husband is a retired police officer from the same department. My life is very full, and I find that even though I no longer have to go to work, I am so busy that I tend to stay up till the "wee hours" trying to cram everything into the day....surely my job must have gotten in the way of all of this...
