About crankybeer
Professionally, I have been in media and marketing for over 20 years. I changed jobs from ad agency to client side at a pharmaceutical firm, and it's a much better quality of life than the million hours of stress that comes with ad agency life. My husband works in protection management for a security firm in the big city. Have a son who's almost 3 as of this edit. My husband is Dutch and he's teaching our 3 year old to speak/understand it, and it's maddening when a 3 year old can understand a language that you can't. I'm pretty good in languages, but the kid just soaks up the language like candy! Read about my husband's romantic marriage proposal in the quaint town of Maastricht in southern Holland and then check out our Heavenly Honeymoon Destination in the British Virgin Islands.

If you're seriously dating someone and thinking of marriage I urge you to check out 4 Important Questions to see if your partner is really right for you before you walk down the aisle. These aren't silly Cosmo quiz questions, they are truly thought provoking to make you properly assess your potential mate. Too many of my friends have made mistakes that were avoidable had they only looked honestly at their situations.

If all goes well answering "the 4 questions", you may want to check out Essentional Bridal Registry Tips.

If you plan to go to Disney, definitely check out the way to prevent waiting in lines.

Three Epinion Members I highly recommend:

THEEYE (She got me addicted to this ridiculous site and taught me HTML). She writes very thorough opinions on a variety of topics, especially kid/new mom products, but other topics, too like how to Kill Spamming

Theeye's husband, Hymie, who has written 2 opinions so far (C'mon Hymie, try another!)

And finally Mobiprof. I stumbled on mobiprof's opinions since joining and he is so thorough, articulate and funny. If you are into tech, Mobiprof is for you big time. After you read a few of his opinions, you will think your own stink. We can't all be the king.

Ascertaining that my husband is Dutch, Mobiprof has been leaving comments on my opinions in Dutch so I have to ask my husband to translate. I have finally broken down his will and gotten mobiprof to admit that he is Dutch, too. Being Dutch is another big plus for him. Check him out.
