If it had not been the pain
that held me back
from stripping my soul,
I would end, my Lord
this everlasting battle.
A battle of life,
blocked by emotions
which thicken with confusion.
Looking up to the Lord above,
asking the inevitable question
"why me?"
He answers with a beautiful flower
staring up from the grass
as I walk to the store,
and with the rain which falls
lightly on my head,
overwhelming me with its freshness
and the sunshine
glistening along the water drops
beneath my feet.
I look up again towards the Lord,
and a bright rainbow appears,
taking my worries afar.

The good life is
Rhythm,
Fun,
Laughter,
Relaxation,
And smiling.
