I am a 52 year old Mexican American divorced mother of two adult sons. I have been in the medical field for over twenty years. Gone to school for medical receptionist, medical assistant, surgical tech and soon to be medical transcriptionist.
When my two sons grew up and left the nest I was left with the nagging question most empty nesters face. What do I do now? I was terminated from my job after knee surgery and just felt as if there was something I needed to do.
One day I sat at my computer and just started typing. Before I knew it I had typed at least 300 pages. Of course I was writing two books at the same time. Then I realized that I needed to concentrate on one. I am editing my first book now and joined two writing groups that have helped me emensly as a writer. There is an art to writing reviews and I am having so much fun doing it.
I have started a new chapter in my life as a writer and now the journey begins...
