I'm a mom to two girls (4 years and 10 months). I've been a floral designer for 8 years and enjoy taking photos of my little ones. I listen to lots of different music--heavy metal, classical, and modern blues. I love cooking but hate washing dishes (hopefully I'll be reviewing a new dishwasher soon!). My values are old-fashioned and I raise my own children--they go to work with me! I'll soon make this arrangement permanent since I'm buying my own business soon. My husband works very close to home too so we see each other at lunch and right after work every day. I strongly encourage families to do what they can to simplify and focus on the important things in life, even if that means living on one income or living on less than you're used to. I could put my college degree to use and get a great job in the city and make great money, but I wouldn't get home till 6:00 and my kids would be in daycare. Being a mom is the most important job to me and I didn't have children so somebody else could raise them. Maybe I'm spoiled, but it took hard work to get here. Believe in your dreams, they can become real.
