Since 2003 Brian Case has served as Interactive Application Developer for WestEd's EdGateway where he creates applications that enable educators to have greater access to resources online and that facilitate more effective communication and workflow between educators. He is in involved in various areas of the development process, from the initial application design to back-end coding, and works in Community Servers software, SQL, and Perl programming languages.
For the past decade, Case has been working as a producer, product manager, and application developer for various new media companies. As the principal for his media company, Curvo Productions, he designed and produced such varied products as an entertainment shopping site and several online conference registration systems. He has worked with several established companies including O'Reilly Networks, Community Servers, Inc., and CMP Media, LLC.
Case holds a BA in music composition and theory from Principia College, Elsah, Illinois. Recently he was awarded a Digital Directions Media Fellowship to study at the Bay Area Video Coalition in San Francisco, California, where he concentrated his coursework in digital post-production.
