Home Sweat (sic) Home!
We're now back in sunny Florida after living in Northern Virginia for almost a year. And now (expecting this might happen) we were relocated again, back to the sunshine state.
We really enjoyed our time in Manassas and Manassas Park Virginia. (We especially enjoyed Casa Chimayo!) We thought the area was a beautiful place to live, and even though it's an outer DC 'burb', it still has a small-town feel and is probably a great place to raise kids - not that we have any.
However, being the native Floridians we are, I guess we missed sweating our tails off. I supposed it all depends on what you're used to and where you grew up. For us, if it ain't 90 outside and 65 inside (yes, we do love our a/c down here), then something ain't right. (Oddly enough, if it's 65 outside we start to get chilly!)
For the time being we're living in an extended stay hotel in Orlando until we find a more permanent place to be. Hopefully we'll find a place soon. Going from a 3/2 to a 1/1 hotel room is not the best situation, but hey, at least we're home. We love Orlando, and it's good to be back.
