More about me personally...
My wife and I are both somewhere about half way between twenty and forty in age, with one beautiful daughter keeping us ever entertained.
I have lived in both western and eastern Canada (if you consider Ontario to be eastern, or two months in Quebec to qualify as living there), along with a year long stint in jolly ol' England, which we thoroughly enjoyed.
Growing up I watched Gretzky start playing with the Oilers while living in Edmonton and lived through having Bob Probert for a babysitter during my years in Windsor.
Ottawa is our home now, and we love the city, people and the life it provides us.
(BTW one thing you may notice in my reviews is a few 'extra' "U"s here and there in words such as: my favourite colour affects my behaviour and generally annoys my southern neighbours. I have no real idea why we Canadians add these sporadic "U"s other than it was really programmed into us as kids. And don't get me started on the 'OUT' versus 'OOT' thing eh.)
By profession, I am a software developer at a large Canadian telecommunication company where they have foolishly promoted me into management. They still let me code once in a blue moon, but only for non-vital web page stuff and generally then only for menial bean counting tasks ;-)
Family, friends, travel, sports, and hobbies all conspire to keep us sufficiently busy and I have to admit life has been pretty good to me so far.
Anyway, I expect this 'About Me' section will evolve to become more epinions relevant in the future, but for the time being I hope you enjoy any musings I find the time to jot down.
