I worked 15 as a surgery assistant at a veterinary clinic in Indiana. Even though it was a small animal clinic, I also love horses. My favorite horse was a Tennesse Walker, Bootwalker, who was trained to cut cattle. Together he and I worked as a team to bring in the Polled Hereford cattle on the farm. (In his mind he believed he was a quarter horse.)
Currently I own two Tennessee Walking Horses, Smokin Pistol and a filly named Fancy.
Besides my work in a veterinary clinic, I have worked as data base manager for a large corporation. Not as exciting as the veterinary work, but much better paying.
I have three children, ages twenty-nine, twenty-seven and eighteen. My grandson is two.
