Hello!

I'm a Freelance writer, web manager, and a former guide for About.com. I have written many reviews of books and movies for that site as well as local publications. Recently, I have become a reviewer for Classical Singer Magazine. I have also reviewed live events, concerts, and recitals for local press and for About.com in New York.

I now work for G3 Corporation where I manage Midlands Antique Mart and Indo-Pacific Trading Company.

I enjoy all of the performing arts, as well as travel, especially to historical points of interest. I am an avid reader with my favorite modern authors being Pat Conroy, Dan Brown, Patricia Cornwell, and Sue Grafton.

My Life

I am partnered with a wonderful singer, pianist, composer and metaphysician, Michael Emmanuel Koch. We met in 1998 via the Internet and have been together ever since. You can read more about us on our homepage.

	We have three wonderful dogs, Zaide, a German Shepherd/Coyote Mix. She has coyote markings and vocalizations, but is very friendly, smart and hyper!
	Kundun is a Rottweiler/Chow mix. Kundun is a rescue from an animal shelter. He was born a stray and had lots of health problems as a puppy. He is  doing wonderfully now and is one of the sweetest and most gentle dogs you'd ever want to meet.
	Gabriel is a chow mix who adopted us by showing up on our doorstep in pretty sad shape. He's now a fat and sassy fellow who loves to give kisses and play with all the toys.

My Church

I am a minister with the Universal Life Church and the Chief Celebrant for the Order of St. John & St. Sebastian, a progressive Christian Gnostic Church here in Newberry, SC. We are members of the Interfaith Community Services and provide spiritual support through many community projects along with the other churches in the area.

My Politics

I am a member of the Democratic Party and active in local and state causes and events. I grew up a Democrat and even worked on the first Clinton/Gore campaign before. I am very active in promoting civil rights for GLBT persons including marriage.
