I am a retired test engineer in Silicon Valley. I am married and enjoy travel, entertainment, computers, golf, fitness, good food and drink, as well as the company of friends and family.
I am heavy into home theater and how to improve the visual as well as the listening experience. I enjoy movies, especially adventures and SCIFI, and music from classics, jazz, R&B,to oldies.
I evaluate products on their basic usefulness to me. I am always concerned about quality (a big part of my vocation) and long-term reliability. I am a gadget freak to a large extent, but try limit my budget to products that have real life value.
