About Damien
|
Damien Barrett was born on Friday, April 13th, 1973 in Van Nuys, CA at 4:14 p.m., a mere 5 minutes before his identical twin, Cameron. He spent his childhood moving around the world experiencing such diverse places as American Samoa, England, and an American Indian Reservation in South Dakota.
Damien recently left the teaching profession in Michigan to become a Macintosh computer consultant in New York City. His job requires infinite patience (the classroom trained him very well for this) and a deep understanding of how people use computers. Damien is enjoying his recent career change and is enamored with the big, exciting city he has moved to.
Damien was introduced to weblogs by his brother, Cameron of Camworld fame, and now maintains two weblogs: EduWatch, a near-daily education news log and MrBarrett, a place for everything else not education-related.
Damien is single. He likes cats and redheads, but not necessarily in that order.
