Currently I the Director of Managed Care for a group of specialty physicians that provide services in hospitals around the Houston area. In fact this group is one of the largest Anesthesiology groups in the United States. I really enjoy working with these physicians and can say that I do enjoy going to work every day which I know is difficult for some to say.
I am married to a wonderful gal. We love to travel the world together. Recently we achieved one of our goals together and are now expecting our first child in June. I am sure with a baby at home, I will end up spending more time reading and writing opinions of baby stuff than I do now. For now I read and write a variety of opinions with a focus on Outdoors activities and Travel.
Previously, I worked for a hospital in the highly regarded Texas Medical Center. There, I worked with the 700 physician Independent Practice Association. A major responsibility at both my previous job and my current job is negotiating Managed Care Contracts with HMOs, PPOs, directly with employers, and with any other healthcare payor.
As for my interests, I enjoy my traveling and try to combine that with scuba diving where possible. I enjoy helping make the community a better and safer place to live. Towards that end, I have volunteered as a member of a county emergency unit that provided dive rescue and recovery services. Additionally, I served as an EMT and Fire Fighter in that same county. (Great fun!)
I am currently working on earning a dive instructor rating so I can help teach classes and more importantly provide support for groups of students wanting to get their check out dives completed while on trips to exotic locations. (A Travel Goal and a Scuba Goal!)The teaching will be a second job and one that I do only because I enjoy it. Somehow I will fit it in with my primary job and family. I am not too far off from reaching that goal, considering I work in an office 50-60 hours a week.

If you are one of the idiots who believes this web site is a joke and all you write is trash, you can expect and will earn a Not Recommended. Further, if your opinion is pure bull or is full of profane language, expect it to be reported to the web police.
To earn a spot in my web of trust your slate of opinions must be recommended or highly recommended my most of those who read them. I also must like them. I will not give a set number of opinions that must be written, but expect that I would review a few of your opinions before adding you to my web of trust.
