ME AND MINE-
Hi. Lets see well my name is Debra as you probably already figured out. I am married with a two year old son. My son T.J. is what you would call an over-active child, so you can imagine I have my hands full. He is in to a lot of different things. He loves cars, computers, video games horses, board games, books are his second favorite, then of course the all mighty chocolate which he gets from me. My husband is in to movies, video games, the computer, snowmobiling and he plays the guitar once in a while. Yet I can't seem to get him to sit down long enough to read a good book. Go figure.
MY COLLECTIONS-
I love to collect romance novels and movies. I collected cd's in the past. So you may find me doing reviews on just about all of those things. Lately I have gotten in the habit of reading a book then doing a review on it or watching a movie and doing a review on it. But I don't just tell you my opinion on these things.
MY FAMILY HELPS TOO-
If I watch a movie with my husband I'll let the guys out there know what he thought. If I watch a child's movie I'll tell the parents out there how my son acted through the movie and if he liked it. My son is a bit over active, so must of the time it is hard to get him to sit down and watch a movie unless he really likes it.
WHAT MAKES A GOOD BOOK-
I have been collecting romance novels since I was 13 or 14. So by now I know what is good and what is bad. My older sister collects Steven King novels and I have ended up having to read some of them so I might do a review on a few of them. Warning Steven King is not for the soft hearted. They sure scared the crap out of me when I was younger. I would much rather sit down and read a nice romance. To me love is a lot better to read that death and mayhem unless you decide to put the three together and make a happy ending.
ME-
Ok so I'm a bit of a softy. But I am 100% honest with my opinions. Some people don't like my bluntness, but that is me. Oh and I forgot to say that my husband and I have made a tradition of spending time together playing video games. A few years ago I bought him Final Fantasy 7 for Christmas and we decided to use it as a way to spend time together.
VIDEO GAMES HELP MY MARRIAGE- TRY AND FIGURE THAT ONE OUT-
We love buying role playing games and playing them together. Usually we by one player games. He goes through it and plays while I navigate for him. We both love the science fiction and fantasy aspect of the games. So I do a few reviews on them when we finish a game. But you know how I am with the whole romance thing, so Final Fantasy is great because it is full of mystery, action and romance too.
