Hello. I am 25 years old. I went to UNC-Chapel Hill (go Tarheels!), and I'm married. I am not a religious person, but I enjoy learning about other religions and spirituality in general.
I love to watch TV. Here is what I watch: "Sex and the City", "The Sopranos", "Survivor", "Friends", "Xena Warrior Princess", "Ally McBeal", "Law and Order", and "That Seventies Show".
I am an avid music listener. Some of my favorite artists are Fiona Apple, Hole, Sonic Youth, Stereolab, Sleater-Kinney, Saint Etienne, Smashing Pumpkins, Garbage, the Subhumans, the Sex Pistols, and Aimee Mann. While I have very strong opinions about music, I find it difficult to write an intelligent music review that says more than "I love this band! They're so great! They're really great! You should buy this CD, because it rocks!" I will not write that kind of review, and so I have not written much in this area.
I am an even more fanatical movie critic, and I enjoy articulating my views on the subject. I love too many movies to mention, but I tend not to agree with most people as to which are best. (This usually sparks a great deal of controversy with my friends.) My favorite actress is Parker Posey, and my favorite movie is "Party Girl"! (Yes, it's a little silly, I know.) I think that Janeane Garofalo is the funniest comedian in America today.
I highly enjoy reading books. I like a good stiff liquor drink or a nice glass of wine. My cocktails of choice are as follows: Absolut Citron and tonic with lime; Captain Morgan's and Coke; and Malibu coconut rum with Ocean Spray ruby red tangerine juice. I love Nat Sherman Hint of Mint cigarettes.
Read my reviews! I rate other people's reviews based on three criteria. The first one is whether or not the reviewer uses factual information to support his or her arguments. The second one is whether the analysis presented is interesting, entertaining, or amusing. The third one is whether the review contains enough relevant information to help me make an informed decision about the subject matter. I try to be objective as often as possible. If you trust me, then I will try to read your new opinions and rate them.
