I figured with two passions, one writing and the other exotic pets I might as well merge the two together. I was with Bellaonline from 2000 to 2006 life became too involved for a while, thankfully they let me come back.

This is I not winning an argument – he took my pastry and would not give it back; too many calories anyway.

I am thrilled to have everything together again, to be back at Epinions with full heart. Being disabled myself and taking care my folks, and mother-in-law was difficult. I loved my folks and miss them dearly.

I am a mother, a wife, a grandmother, a writer, an exotic pet consulant, a painter, and appreciate every living moment of my life. I lost my mother a few days ago; I lost my father in December, my brother a short time ago, and a son at fifteen. Don't put off a single "I love you."

I have a severe disability that doesn't slow me down. Well, maybe my body is going to slow me down, but not my mind, imagination, or my ability to enjoy life. I have had a couple different types of cancers; one was breast cancer resulting in a double radical mastectomy. Don't put anything off, ever. Losing my family has had a profound influence on the way I see the world around me. I put up a brick wall around me when my son died; very few people have managed to get through that barrier. The barrier has gotten stronger and stronger with each death- with my mother's death I am afraid this wall is crumbling. I have to deal with this to be able to fully FEEL again.

My passion is exotic pets and animals in general. I have been a wildlife rehabilitator and now am a consultant primarily in behavioral problems in birds, but deal with a lot of exotic pet situations.

My husband George, (the two-legged one) I love this picture, It reminds us all how precious life is.

We moved to Huron, South Dakota almost four years ago now. The time has gone so fast.
