Well, first things first, my name is Brittany. I'm a 22 year old Journalism major, though I currently work at an elementary school as a teacher's aide in a special education classroom. I'm an optimist, a realist, a dreamer, a friend, a lover, a laugher, a writer, a listener, a talker, and an all around lover of life.
I've been on epinions for seven years, though not entirely consistant (that's something I forgot to mention about myself above). No matter- I love this site, and I love writing reviews.
Most of my reviews will be about music because I love music. I am almost always listening to music- my computer has over 65 GB of music on it- and I truly DO listen to all of it. Some of my favorite artists include John Mayer, Jamie Cullum, Radiohead and Coldplay, though I'm known to listen to a bit of any and everything, and my tastes can definitely not be defined.
Besides music, you'll also see me do an occassion movie or video game review. I'm quite the movie buff- I own over a hundred DVDs and my collection is ever-growing. I don't play many video games- my collection is limited to the Harry Potter franchise, The Sims and Diner Dash franchises(which I play on my laptop), and the occasional RPG game for Playstation 2.
Besides music, movies, and games, I love to read and write. As I said, I'm working towards my journalism degree, and I'd love to work for a newspaper after I graduate. My ultimate dream is basically the story of Almost Famous, but I'll settle for whatever life gives me, as long as it has to do with being able to write for a living. Besides my years on Epinions, I've spent a year as editor on my college paper, and I'm currently working on a novel. My goal is to be published within the next year or two. I also have a personal blog that you can check out which is basically just a honest collection of my life's highs and lows.
As far as Epinions goes, I used to list my "soon to be reviewed" items on my wishlist, and I may go back to doing that, but for now, I'll just be randomly reviewing albums as I go along- I have more albums that I can count in my collection (digital and physical CDs), and as you can see, I've only reviewed about 120 of them so far. I'm trying to review daily, since right now I've taken the semester off school and have free time after work, but I can't make any promises- as I've always said, I have a busy life no matter what's going on, so sometimes Epinions falls behind in my priorties.
