I'm an 18-year-old high-school senior that loves to play videogames and make techno music. I'm building my review list still, but here's the way I'll rate YOUR reviews:
VH-The person does a well written (grammar AND spelling counts here) even review. What does 'even' mean? Well, you gotta point out the negatives about the product as the positives. Usually five or more paragraphs is needed for this; however, depending on how much information is available, I might be leniant.
H-Grammar and spelling don't count as much here, as long as the person has at least made an attempt to inform of both sides.
SH-There are a few points that you've been incorrect about, but I'll usually tell you in the comments as I make the choice. This can be corrected by following suggestions.
NH-I don't even consider what you've done a 'review'. All you've done is told what to get with something or bs your way through the information. Usually only one paragraph, IF that, and even if you correct it, I'm not going to reverse it.
Very few times will I go lower than a Helpful on a review. If you have gotten lower than that, you may want to fix it before I give someone else an idea.
