I am your average type of geek. Glasses, not very sporty and can recite lines from Babylon-5 and 2001. Love gadgets, but can only afford few. Frugal in nature, but like to try new stuff all the time.
I teach full-time at a local community college, teach part-time at a University of California, and perform a little bit of consulting on the side. Been involved with programming, computers and robotics throughout my adult life.
I am a Linux, GNU and OpenSource fan/contributor. Use Linux on a daily basis, only dual boot to Windows to play movies and games (that'd be once a week or less). I dream to become a Jedi knight in the software world.
