About dustinnikki

Last updated: End of December 2009

I have been married to my husband for 10 years now. We have been together for 12 years. It’s pretty sweet to be married to my high school sweetheart.

Throughout the years we ended up with our three wonderful kids. Our daughter is the oldest. She is 8 ½ years old. She is with mild autism and was actually diagnosed with PDD (Pervasive Developmental Disorder) and ADD/ADHD. Most days are a struggle but we get through them as she has learned and still learns to cope with things. I am happy to say that she is doing very well in school and loves to read. She is a very avid reader!

Our 3 year old son is something else. He’s almost 4 and he is a handful! He’s also the clown of the family. He’s very smart. I think he would be ready for Kindergarten already. He wants to go to school like his big sister. He’s also one of those kids that never seem to learn anything about common sense. It’s like sticking your finger in the light socket twice to see if we get the same result. He’s never actually done that though but that’s the way he is. He’s definitely a boy!

Our youngest son is just a baby at almost 3 1/2 months old now. He is getting so big! He smiles and laughs all the time. He loves to "talk" and every day, he has something else to say. He is starting to get interested in toys somewhat now. He's reaching for things and gets excited about everything these days. We are beginning the days where everything goes in his mouth. Sometimes it's hard to remember they grow so fast!
