Well there's the usual ... I'm the mom of two wonderful, beautiful, intelligent, active children ... a 6 yr old girl and a 12 yr old son. They are the light of my life, I love being their mom! You'll find that a lot of my reviews and comments have to do with 'mommy' or child related issues. I'm in my 30's ... not old, but no longer young and hip either. A lot of people see my pictures with my kids and seem to assume I was a teen mom ... I don't know why this really bugs me, but it does ... I was in my 20's when my son was born, I had graduated college and I was married ... almost 30 when my daughter was born *geez is that possible?!?!?!*. I'm not stating these things as a judgment against anyone who has chosen a different path, I just feel this need to explain myself against those who do judge based on these things. So, this is me ... if it's not of interest to you, then I can certainly understand ... I wasn't 'into' the whole mommy thing when I wasn't a mom either.

What else is there to me? Well I'm a SAS programmer ... which is basically a statistical geek girl. I crunch numbers, look at trend data, enrollment predictions, provide data analysis in the Institutional Research & Planning office of a state University. I enjoy my job ... it's not exciting in a life saving or thrill seeking way ... but it's actually interesting and good clean 'nerdy' fun!

I love shopping (sometimes) ... love to find a good bargain ... but am a firm believer that a cheap price does not always mean a 'bargain'. Sometimes it pays to pay a bit more for a product that you like, that best meets your needs, that will last longer, etc. So while my opinions may include price/bargain comments, I don't generally complain about the price of an item if I feel it is worth a little extra money.
