About elegiac

Once upon a time, I managed a pharmacy on Long Island, NY. I also studied fine art at the Fashion Institute of Technology in NYC. I lived in the East Village for a few years, then Connecticut, then Long Island again, then Connecticut, and now, western Massachusetts. Somewhere in there I worked for the USPS. I've not painted in several years. I sporadically attempt to write. I stubbornly try adding components to a little home local area network with my brother, Nomad_Scry. We eventually manage-- let's hear it for people with thick heads and determination. Got married back in February, and my wife and I are trying to start a little loony-toon family. thetoolsofwar, haven't seen you in *ages*. Once in a while I'll make a piece of jewelry, a garment, or a blade.
If you've plagiarized someone else's review, posted insanely hateful opinions, engaged in the retaliatory ratings game, routinely post MLM nonsense, or have a good deal of inaccurate information in your reviews, I'll distrust you.
Addendum: Please don't send me any MLM stuff. Anyone that I haven't already corresponded with that sends me a message that approximates "Hi, I'm user12345 at epinions and i found this great program-- sign up http://www.ripoff.com/refid=imasuckertoo" will end up on my distrust list.
If you have a comment, question, or suggestion, please write to me.
JMB623 has helped out quite a bit with computer troubles otherwise unsortable by any of the resident tinkerers.
I wish that I could write music reviews like Leah or Justin_Cord. Garym writes with beautifully efficient clarity.
Please be sure to read something by kmennie. foxfroggy, too. You won't be sorry.
18 June, 2000-- Still getting settled in to the new house. Next time I decide to renovate a house, I hope that some kind soul will bop me on the head and remind me what a royal pain in the rear it'll be...
8 November, 2000-- My beautiful l'il daughter was born at 3:03AM. Poor thing won't know what to make of her parents...
11 August, 2001-- Been doing the incredibly silly certification thing. Yippee. Nothing like collecting additional words to tack on after your name to make it look like you know what you're doing...
30 October, 2001-- My son was born at 7:04PM. My daughter is *fascinated* with him, and I can't say that I blame her at all... parenthood is strange, but I wouldn't trade it for anything.
28 May, 2006-- still kicking, just not writing product reviews. A bit difficult to squeeze in the time to write when you're chasing three kids around...
