I'd call myself an avid photographer. I love traveling, the kind that involves hiking in the nature and maybe rollerblading or biking in an urban setting. When not on wheels or skiis or in a sailboat, I am enjoying grad school while approaching my degree in Computer Science.

Food is another thing that I enjoy (who doesn't), but no reviews on it here. However, if you like to cook, welcome to my recipe webpage. But be warned, it is Latvian cooking, which means that instead of counting calories and fat, you'd better go and work out.

I am not a professional writer, as you may have noticed. However I may have a certain knowledge and experience in other fields, which I am willing to share. What do I get in return? I do not have an illusion that I'll make lot's of money here at Epinions. But, I enjoy the community, and practice writing, which I consider a valuable exercise.
