About elunsford
|
I am a 50 year old retired Electronics Instructor. I retired in Feb 2002 because of a disability that prevented me from performing my duties. It is a decision that I made and not one that was made for me. I do miss the students. After seventeen years it's hard to give them up. I live in New England where I now spend my days making models and puzzles. I have also gotten into woodworking, making things like clowns and different animals. I have had the great fortune to have traveled around the world. My father was retired Air Force and we lived in Europe for over ten years. I even graduated from High School in Germany in 1970. I recently learned that no matter how you feel that your parents treated you, unless it was outright abuse, you should keep contact with them and spend as much time as you can with them. I just lot my father on Dec. 10th to a massive heart attack. It is a hard thing to deal with. Along with the hobbies, I also love to fish, practice archery, read, do crossword puzzles and travel. The latter is difficult to do in a wheelchair, but it can be done. My wife, Linda, love spending time with two of my five grandchildren. The two boys live here in Springfield and the three girls live in Las Vegas. We are hoping to go on another cruise for our fifteenth this coming March. All in all life is good and I am enjoying it to the max.
