I am a 35 year old single mom of a wonderful 7-year-old boy. I am also the girlfriend of a freelance photographer who absolutely adores me. I own my own business as a skin care consultant, I am a freelance writer, and I work for 3M in Marketing.
I love to snowshoe, and living in Minnesota there are lots of opportunities for it! My home-away-from home is the North Shore on Lake Superior, here in Minnesota. I visit there at least once a month. Winter is my favorite season there because the Great Lake doesn't freeze and its shoreline takes on a magical look and feel that is very difficult to describe. Its waterfalls freeze and become these great frozen formations. It is so wonderfully peaceful and quiet there in winter. I love to stay at the Grand Superior Lodge right on the lake. They have these wonderful thick, warm comforters on the beds. I sleep with the window open so I can hear the waves and smell the fresh air. The windows are tall enough that I can lay in bed, buried deep in the cozy comforter, and gaze out over the lake at the stars. It truly is heaven on earth!
I also love to bike ride and in Minnesota we have the "rails to trails" program so there are miles and miles of trails waiting for me to discover them. I love to read; self-help books, history, and O! magazine. I also love to travel, play legos with my son, and hike.
