Well, whaddya know? I'm a BLOCKED MEMBER.
Don't come any closer - you might catch it.
Hello. My name's Steve, I'm 19, and I love music. No I don't, wait a minute... I hate music! And that's because I love it.
Know what I mean?
I actually hate more music than I like. Because I'm passionate about it, see; passionate and discriminating. Yes, very discriminating. I also find it difficult to write about music that I like, while criticising music is very easy. Hence my many low ratings of albums and films and whole cities, not to mention Epinions editors (or rather, the idea of Epinions editors). And really, they got off rather lightly.
Needless to say, I'm half-pis – I mean, inebriated - as I write this, and cäan baerly hti the write butonns on the kyeboäärd.
Some writers that I like. They're either on my 'Web of Trust' or they aren't. Let's face it, it's so puny, it doesn't really matter anyway, does it?
FilboidStudge – Most entertaining writer on Epinions. I think he was an 'editor' briefly, but seeing as that was the year he was away discovering himself and listening to folk songs instead of Aphex Twin, he didn't even notice. Has since disappeared off the face of Epinions, since they altered their Eroyalties system slightly. Be sure to check out his final 'v'-sign to everyone, in the shape of a Julio Inglesias-inspired account of some dodgy acid trip Studge had while he was on holiday somewhere.
Christoff – What you might call 'an old hippy'; that is, if you didn't know any better.
Greyarea – First person to stick me on his WOT; first person to bugger off. There's a big red sign above his profile saying "Account no longer active", so he doesn't visit any more. Shame, as he makes up half of my Web of Trust.
IspeakUp – Really good movie reviewer. I 'trust' her, despite her often writing about films I've never heard of. Read the review of Monster's Ball.
Beckstar – Quite a new writer really. I mean, she has only written a few reviews, and I initially 'trusted' her because of she seemed to write about things which I like (such as, Blue Velvet, or Delicatessen, or Women on Top by Nancy Friday – I've said too much.) Needless to say, she never visits any more.
Mr.Eyore's pretty good too.
I must also give thanks and a link to mattygroves, who told me how to do links and stuff.
As for my own reviews, I would recommend you read my account of life in Manchester ('Dark City'), or my pride and joy, 'What are Editors?...', as it has so far got every single rating, from 'Not Helpful' right up through to 'Most Helpful'. Now I'm just waiting for the first 'Off Topic'...
I'm off to buy Daphne & Celeste's new CD....
