I am a Mum to 4 children, 3 boys 16, 13, & 10yrs and one girl 5yrs. I work parttime at an Early Childhood Centre. I have been using computers since the ‘80’s. My children are very computer literate but are also very creative and artistic which I encourage.
I quilt, wallhangings being my favorite project at the moment. Miniature bears are my passion and I create tiny bears of about 2 inches tall. The bears are handcrafted and I regularly sell them.
My husband works as a digital cartographer. He also is computer mad. The large stack of computers and parts around the house testify to that fact.
Although I live in New Zealand, which to some might seem the bottom of the world. It’s a lovely country. Where we live in Palmerston North, we are only a couple of hours to the Capital City or if we drive the other way-ski fields. The beach is only 20 min and native bush is only minutes away in the hills behind the city.
With the internet we feel real close to what's happening in the rest of the world.I enjoy the epinion site as it really makes the world seem smaller for me.
Epinions I write are my own thoughts on the product, with some input from the members of my family who actually use the toy or item. Some products may be ones that we use in the Early childhood centre, but I will state that.
I will try to be accurate in my observations of the products used, especially toys as different children may not like a toy that another child adores.
I enjoy reading other members epinions and this site is often a first stop before making a purchase.
