I live in W. Michigan, divorced, and have great adult daughters,one who has a Farm Animal Sanctuary on her small farm nearby, and has been involved in Animal Welfare for many years, and one who works in the legal field, back closer to Detroit, where we grew up!
I was a Social Worker for many years, working very part-time today. I enjoy most every aspect of my life today....I share my home with my lovebird Findley, and an answering machine~~although we're seldom the only ones here. I enjoy reading, writing, being outdoors, especially during these wonderful Michigan summers.
I've recently taken up metal-detecting, after buying my grandson one a couple years ago......a great way to meet people, and who knows, find that 100 year old buried diamond ring that will spirit me away to Ireland! (A goal that I WILL accomplish someday - God willin' and the creek don't rise!
