Hello - I'm 34, live in a small village up in the Pennines in the North of England. Weird little place called Scapegoat Hill, highest point west of the Urals (fact fans), a view which, on a fine day, reminds you how tiny England is as I see it dribble past York into the sea 60 miles away. Pub, little school, nothing else, cold fresh air, perfect.
Director of a specialist recruitment business, marriedNK New to Epinions but having fun. Didn't realise it was so US-based but enjoy the different thinking. Like US writing, less cynical and knowing. Everyone in Blighty has forgotten how to run up a flag for something they actually believe in.
I am looking for entertaining writing, and some sort of experience, something that makes me go hmmm...., as well as concrete advice, so I apologise to baby-walker reviewers if I am an infrequent friend. Similarly, VH means I enjoyed the sizzle not the sausage.
Big loves in life are - jazz (I play jazz piano in various small and big bands), good beer, fresh air, working then resting. Hope to connect with many of you in time! And I hope you enjoy some of my words, with thanks in advance for kind comments.
